Good value for a new business

I was looking for a cost-effective way to get my business online, and the 1 dollar for 3 months deal caught my eye. It was a great opportunity to test out the platform without a big upfront commitment. The shopping cart software worked well, and the basic plan had everything I needed to start selling. I felt like I got a lot for my money, which was important for me as a first-time buyer on a budget. Worth the purchase for sure.

Simple setup, quick launch

Needed a store fast. The website builder was intuitive. Got my products listed and payments ready in a day. Hosting included. No issues. Recommended.

Solid platform, minor hiccup

I decided to go with Shaka Brands after checking out a few other options. The multi-channel selling feature was a big plus for me, and the analytics and reporting tools are quite useful for tracking sales. The setup for the online store hosting went smoothly, and my site has been reliable. My only small criticism is that the app store integrations could have a few more niche options. Overall, though, it's a very capable platform and has served my business well.

Made selling online pretty easy

So, I decided to try selling some of my handmade stuff online, and a friend told me about Shaka Brands. I used their ecommerce website builder, and it was actually pretty easy to get my store looking decent. I liked that hosting was part of the deal, so I didn't have to figure that out separately. The whole thing just felt pretty smooth, you know? Got my first sale after about a week, which was cool.

So easy to get started!

I just launched my first online store with Shaka Brands, and I'm really happy with how straightforward the whole process was. The ecommerce website builder had great themes, and integrating my payment gateway was super simple. I even got a custom domain set up without any fuss. I'm telling all my friends who want to sell online about this! Definitely using them again for my next venture.

Can I cancel my subscription easily if I decide it's not for me? Don't want to get stuck in some long contract.

M Mary Rivera 10 hours ago
Yeah, cancellation is pretty simple. I think it's just in your account settings. No major hoops to jump through, at least when I paused my plan.

I've heard it's pretty straightforward. Most of these platforms make it easy to cancel, especially if you're on a monthly plan.

Does Shaka Brands let you use your own domain name? I already bought one and don't want to buy another.

B Brian Anderson 2 weeks ago
Oh yeah, for sure. You can connect your existing domain. It's pretty straightforward, they have instructions for it.

Yep, my buddy uses his own domain with them. It's one of the basic features for setting up a proper online shop.

How do payments work? Can customers pay with like, PayPal or Apple Pay, or just credit cards?

G Grace Carter 13 hours ago
They use Shopify's payment system, so it's super robust. Lots of options like PayPal, credit cards, Apple Pay, etc. It's all built in.

Customers have tons of options. It's pretty standard for any modern e-commerce site, so you shouldn't have any issues with accepted payment methods.

Hey, anyone know if Shaka Brands offers a free trial? I want to test it out before committing to anything.

O Olivia F. 6 days ago
Yep, they definitely have a free trial. I think it was like 14 days when I started, just enough time to poke around.

M Megan D. 5 days ago
They usually do a free trial, and sometimes even a super cheap first few months deal. Just gotta look for the right link on their site.

I saw something about $1 for 3 months. Is that a real deal or just clickbait? Want to make sure it's legit before I dive in.

N Nathan Roberts 1 week ago
Totally real! That's how I got started. It's usually a promo link you click, not a code you type in. Super good way to try it out.

A Alex Gomez 5 days ago
Yeah, they do that sometimes. It's usually for new accounts. Just make sure you're clicking on one of their official promo links.

Is Shaka Brands actually affiliated with Shopify? Or is it just another platform trying to ride their coattails?

S Sam Garcia 4 days ago
They are a Shopify partner. They essentially help people set up and manage stores using the Shopify platform, so it's legit.

J Jason Turner 2 days ago
From what I understand, they're like a service that helps you *use* Shopify, not a competitor. So yeah, they work with Shopify.

Comparing Shaka Brands with Wix or Squarespace. Does Shaka Brands offer similar drag-and-drop ease of use for building a store?

J Jacob Moore 1 week ago
It's built on Shopify, so it's more geared towards actual e-commerce features than a general website builder like Wix. It's easy enough for a store though.
3
K Karen J. 1 week ago
I'd say it's different. Wix and Squarespace are more all-around site builders. Shaka Brands, because it's Shopify-based, is specifically for selling stuff. It's still pretty intuitive for setting up a shop though.

Thinking of starting a new online store, is Shaka Brands good for that? Do they include hosting or is that separate?

J James Thompson 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they totally handle the hosting. That's kinda their main thing, making it easy to get a shop up without worrying about servers and stuff.

M Mary Roberts 3 weeks ago
It's all part of the package, from what I remember when I signed up. They build on Shopify so all that tech stuff is handled by them.
